Blovits are shorter bloviations expressing observations, irritations and opinions.

Currently, two behemoths of industry are waging a pissing contest over a contract renewal which is impacting viewers who pay premium prices to be able to watch live local TV through their streaming platforms. The two dueling cocksmen have had their battle progress out of their offices, on to the stage, down the stairs and into the audience, severely disrupting their routines and viewing pleasure.
Who are these titans of industry who show a reckless disregard for their paying customers? One is that once lovable little mouse, who with the passing of his creator and founder has evolve into a gluttonous rodent with an insatiable appetite for unlimited wealth and power, gobbling up more and more and more. The other is … christ, I don’t even know what. Some kind of Android, bot like thing that has managed to penetrate every sensory orifice of our bodies and shows no signs of stopping its search for more orifices to penetrate. That’s right. They’re Disney and YouTubeTV (aka Google, now Alphabet, soon to be Maximus Prime Number + Infinity).

The battle still wages! CEO’s Annual stock buybacks may be impacted to the tune of -.0000000001%. High ranking executives may have to forgo tipping the towel boy at the club this year! But that is not what is pissing me off. After all, this shit is happening everywhere nowadays. We are a country being erratically manipulated by a bunch of obscenely rich, inherited wealth buffoons who have no conception of what a billion dollars is and what greatness could be accomplished with it. They only know, if they don’t get more … then … then … they don’t really know. They aren’t programmed for it. They will never be happy because they can’t seem to find the elusive “Enough”.
But what’s pissing me off at the moment is this email I just received:

Hi J.J.,
We’ve been working in good faith to negotiate a deal with Disney that pays them fairly for their content and returns their programming to YouTube TV. We know it’s been disappointing to lose Disney content, and we want you to know we deeply appreciate your patience. In light of the disruption, we’re offering our subscribers a $20 credit.
Over the next few days, you will receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to redeem your $20 credit for YouTube TV. Once redeemed, this will be applied to your next bill.
We remain committed to working with Disney to bring their content back to YouTube TV. As always, family managers have the ability to pause or cancel anytime.
Thanks for your membership,
The YouTube TV team
WTF!
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REDEEM? HOW TO REDEEM??? JUST GIVE ME THE FUCKING $20! WHO IS THE BOOT-LICKING, BROWN NOSING, SYCOPHANTIC, BELLY RUB SEEKING, MINION WHO CAME UP WITH THIS BRIGHT IDEA TO POSSIBLY SAVE CORPORATE FEW SHEKELS DUE TO CUSTOMERS WHO DON’T READ THEIR EMAILS???
(I boldface and enlarged that section. It was innocuously the same font in the actual email)

P.S Two days later an email arrives with instructions how to redeem:
To redeem your credit, please go to the ‘Updates’ tab in Membership Settings using your web browser, and follow the prompts. Once complete, this discount will be applied to your next bill for YouTube TV.
Hope you noticed your email and remembered your login! Corporate Greed strikes again! Suckups are sickening!
